OEM ODM 80g Non Contact Radar Level Gauge for Liquid Medium
Frequency  modulated  continuous  wave(FMCW)  is  adopted  for  radar  level  instrument(80G).  The  antenna  transmits  the high  frequency  and  frequency  modulated  radar  signal.
The frequency of the  radar signal  linearly  increases. The transmitted  radar signal  is reflected  by dielectric to  be  measured and  received  by antenna. At the same time, the difference between the frequency of transmitted  signal  and that  of the  received  signal  is proportional  to  the  measured  distance.  Therefore,  the  distance  is  calculated  by  the spectrum  derived  from  the  analog-to digital  conversion  frequency  difference  and  the  fast Fourier  transform  (FFT).


 

 

Features
Compared with 26G or 6G  radar, 80G  radar has the characteristics of higher frequency, shorter wavelength,  smaller  beam  angle  and  more  concentrated  energy.  With  the
application  of  FMCW  technology,  it  has  the  following  characteristics 1.Large  range,  small  blind  area;

2. Small beam angle, small antenna size, easy to install.  It is less affected by nozzle size and  obstacles  of tank  body;


3.High  measurement  accuracy,  strong  anti-interference  ability  and  high  reliability.
